The Britool Hallmark 1/2" Drive Extending Ratchet with Locking Flex-Head is a professional-quality ratchet designed to provide extra leverage, adjustable reach and improved access when working on demanding automotive and mechanical applications.
The telescopic handle extends from 346mm to 486mm, allowing the user to increase the effective handle length when additional leverage is required. When access is limited, the shaft can be retracted to its shorter 346mm length for improved control and manoeuvrability.
A versatile 180° pivoting flex-head can be locked into 10 different positions, allowing the ratchet to be positioned at the most practical working angle while remaining securely locked during use.

Extending 346–486mm Telescopic Handle
One of the key features of this Britool Hallmark ratchet is its adjustable telescopic handle.
The ratchet can be used at its compact 346mm length for general fastening applications or extended progressively up to 486mm when additional leverage and reach are required.
Increasing the handle length allows greater turning force to be applied with less effort, making the extended setting particularly useful when tackling tight fasteners.
Once the required length has been selected, the shaft locks securely into position for controlled operation.
180° Locking Flex-Head with 10 Positions
The ratchet head pivots through 180°, allowing the handle to be positioned at different angles relative to the socket and fastener.
Unlike a free-moving flex-head, this model can be securely locked into 10 different positions.
This provides greater control and helps prevent the head from moving unexpectedly while force is being applied.
The locking flex-head is particularly useful when working around engine components, suspension assemblies, chassis parts and other obstructions where a conventional fixed-head ratchet may be difficult to position.
72-Tooth Fine Ratchet Mechanism
The 72-tooth mechanism provides a fine 5° working arc, meaning only a small amount of handle movement is required before the next tooth engages.

The combination of a 5° working arc and adjustable flex-head gives the user significantly greater flexibility when accessing awkward fasteners.
Push-Button Safety Socket Release
A convenient push-button safety socket release securely retains the socket on the 1/2" square drive during use.
When a different socket size is required, pressing the release button allows the socket to be removed quickly and easily.
Extra Leverage When You Need It
The ability to extend the handle to 486mm provides substantially more leverage than a conventional standard-length 1/2" drive ratchet.
For everyday fastening work, the ratchet can remain retracted for improved handling. When additional leverage is required, extending the handle provides greater mechanical advantage without immediately needing to change tools.
For exceptionally seized or heavily tightened fasteners, however, a dedicated breaker bar or power bar should be used for the initial release.
